hi! I'm

Maria Eduarda Lima da Silva

Full-stack developer & embedded systems

I build web interfaces with React, Next.js and TypeScript — and C firmware for microcontrollers.

About

I'm a Computer Science student at UNIVALI, in my 6th semester, and a developer at Inover Tecnologia. At LAPESP, I work on the firmware of a CubeSat.

I like moving between both ends: well-typed web interfaces with React, Next.js and TypeScript, and code close to the hardware, with C and FreeRTOS on STM32 microcontrollers.

    CubeSat Telemetry Subsystem

LAPESP — UNIVALI's Academic Space Research League

Subsystem responsible for collecting, packaging, storing and transmitting the satellite's data to the ground station.

Within the team, I worked on the board design in KiCad, integrating a 900 MHz LoRa radio module and SPI flash memory, and on the C firmware for the STM32F411 with FreeRTOS, with concurrent tasks and a recovery mode for the stored data, triggered by a command sent from the ground.

I also conducted a comparative study of six LoRa radio modules, with a technical report that informed the team's decision, and contributed to writing a scientific paper about the subsystem.

Projects

A selection of what I've been building — from firmware to the browser.

  • Home page of the Funerária Lagoense website: green header with the menu, headline about two decades in business, buttons for 24h contact and the PAF plan, and highlights of 20 years, 24-hour service and 2 chapels
About Us section, with the funeral home history and a photo carousel of the building front
Our Facilities section, with the description of the Capela Centro chapel, a photo of it and the button to the photo gallery
Contact section: 24-hour service with phone and WhatsApp numbers, and a form with name, phone, email and message
Where to Find Us section, with address, service hours, Directions and See Phones buttons, and the Google Maps map

    Funerária Lagoense Website

Live business website · Lagoa Vermelha (RS, Brazil)

Website for a funeral home with 20 years in business, built to present the company in a caring way and make it easy to get in touch at difficult moments. The first version was in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP; I refactored everything to Next.js, React and TypeScript, keeping the visual identity. It has lightbox galleries, animations that respect the reduced-motion preference, and a contact form with client- and server-side validation, anti-spam and SMTP delivery through an API route.

Details of a sample plan, with client data and the button to generate the booklet as a PDF
Table with the plan's 12 installments, with the amount and due date of each
Booklet generated as a PDF: one slip per installment, with client data, installment number, due date and amount
Reports screen: total clients, monthly revenue, PDF export and database backup and restore
